80m antenna

17th February – 1st March 2025

We only used 300W from one amplifier and 200W from the other and here are the results in the photo.

We got the license and permission to use SPDX club callsign 4S7SPG as well. All antennas are build and mounted. Weather is sunny and not many mosqiutoes.
The only disadvantage is that all team members have flu and they are 50% operational.
Technical problems with the website have been resolved and we will be publishing new photos soon.

We have technical issue with uploading new photos to our site. If you like to see some of them please look at QRZ.com

All operators are 50% operational. We caught some virus on the plane or from the air conditioner. Fortunately, we installed all the antennas.
However, currently the work is mostly limited to FT8 🙁

We are still waiting for license from TRC Sri Lanka. It is essential to buy airline tickets as early as possible.
Also we would like to inform amateur radio community about our operation.

We plan to stay in the house close to Nilaveli Beach, located on North-East coast of Sri Lanka. We hope that our vertical antennas will work good due to the proximity of salt water in the Indian Ocean.

Welcome to the new Polish Dxpedition. This time it will be Sri Lanka!
